New Drawer Pulls

One of my colleagues at the office approached me with a unique repair request. He produced an old, tarnished, broken oak drawer handle, and asked if I would be able to replicate it. It was triangular in shape with a cavity routed out (for the fingers to be able to fit in). Everything about this project looked like a high risk of a lost finger somewhere in the process.

Well, I finally got around to it tonight, and viola! two replacements for this old, moldy, broken drawer handle. (There are two drawers on this old desk... we may as well have matching handles, yes?)

Species Featured: Red Oak
Lumber: Dimensional lumber
Finish: None
Measurements: Approx. 4 5/8" wide, 1 1/8" tall, 5/8" deep

The original (back side)

The replacements (front and back)
